Michael T. Brady, 76, of New Hartford, died on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Eastern Star Home.
He was born on May 7, 1950, in Darby, PA, a son of the late Thomas and Thelma Brady. He graduated from Monsignor High School, Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Business Administration and attended Marist College MBA Program. Michael married the former Lynn Osborne on December 20, 1986, in Newburgh, NY. Michael began his career as a bank auditor at the New Jersey National Bank in 1972. He relocated to Newburgh, NY, where he worked at the Empire National Bank as an Assistant Auditor. Joining Highland National Bank in 1979 as a Vice President and Auditor, Michael played a major role in institutional consolidations and mergers over the years including a transfer to the Utica area in 1988. Upon retirement, Michael was Senior Vice President & Direct Loan Service Manager for ACS, Inc. Michael loved reading, enjoyed a good meal, good Scotch, his friends and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; children, Eva Burns (Derek), Beth Finch (Michael) and Ryan Brady (Lindsey Exon); grandchildren, Connor Burns, Lyndsey Burns, Abigail Finch and Madelyn Finch.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Administration and Staff of the Eastern Star Home, our friends and family for their support, visits, calls and for all the help through this journey.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, May 16, from 11:00 to 12:00 at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A service will follow at noon.
