I was deeply struck by this news of Mike's untimely passing. Mike was a long time manager, mentor, and friend. He helped shape me into the person I am today, and while I can never replace the void of falling out of touch with him, I thought and spoke of him often. "What Would Mike Do?" he would say when I asked him a question. And the answer depended on whether it was young Mike or the older, kinder, gentler Mike. "Kendall - your meeting" he would say to delegate meeting control to his protégé. I lost money to Mike by way of the Phillies, had my arse justifiable beaten by him more than once, had drinks and dinners with him. He will sorely missed, I can't fathom the impact his passing has on his family, friends and colleagues and express my sincere condolences to those.

Dearest Lynne and family, we are so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was a life long friend to us all. We will always fondly remember our wonderful thanksgivings together. Mike was always there for us when we needed him and was the best neighbor anyone could ask for. Thinking of you and the whole gang during this hard time.

Dear Lynn and family,
I am truly saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike and I had a special relationship cemented by our years working together at AFSA/ACS. But what I cherish the most was the survival of that relationship as friends through our retirement years.
Please accept my sincerest condolences, and know that I will hold so many memories with Mike close to me always.

All my best.
Steve Snyder
