Obituary

Winifred "Ann" Jordan, 73, of Utica, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Born on December 28, 1951, in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Owen J. and Margaret M. (Flynn) Jordan. Ann attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary School and graduated from Utica Free Academy and MVCC. She spent over 40 years with MetLife, where she was a dedicated and respected claims specialist.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Schiavone, and Patricia Purvis and her husband, George; her niece, Kathleen Arthurs and her husband, Robert; her nephew, Anthony Schiavone and his wife, Lourlyn; and her great-nieces and nephews, Mia, Brian, and Jordan Arthurs, and Nicholas and Eliana Schiavone. She was predeceased by her beloved brothers, Brian, Kevin, and Michael Jordan.

Ann adored her dogs: Lola, Shiloh, and Daisy. She was a big fan of the NY Giants and The Beatles and liked playing video games.

Ann's family thanks her supportive neighbors: Paul, Kate, Terry and Kendall. They also thank Ann's compassionate home care team: Sam, Ann, and Becky.

The funeral will be held on Friday, December 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Road, New Hartford. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
