William Scott Thomson, affectionately known as Scooter, passed away on October 15, 2023, in Rome, NY, at the age of 60. Born on October 31, 1962, in Rome, NY, Scooter was a vibrant individual who touched the lives of many.

Scooter was always full of life, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a passion for his career at Stans Seafood, where he made a lasting impact. When he wasn't working, Scooter enjoyed indulging in his hobbies, which included cooking, golfing, fishing, bowling, and playing bocce.

Scooter will be deeply missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his son Jeremy (Kandice) Thomson, Grand children Aubrey, Teagan, Sloane & Callum. His sister Laurie (Mark) Hall, and his sister Kathy Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father Sidney William Thomson and his mother Shirley Bowman Thomson.

In memory of Scooter, contributions can be made to the Abraham House in Rome, NY. This organization holds special meaning to Scooter and his family, and any support would be greatly appreciated.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services in New Hartford, NY. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the funeral home for their assistance during this difficult time.
