Obituary

Susan L. Ames, 72, of New Hartford, died on Monday, March 2, 2026, at her home.

She was born on November 19, 1953, in Utica, a daughter of the late George and Ruth Scholl Ames.  Susan graduated from New Hartford High School and Empire State College -SUNY. She was a member of the Sieria Club.

She is survived by her brother, Jon Ames and his wife, Colleen of Cicero.

Services will be private and at the convenience of family.  Interment will be in Glenside Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
