In Memory of Sheila P. Goff

Obituary

Sheila P. Goff, age 49 of Utica, went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2022, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital.

She was born July 4, 1973, in Utica, a daughter of Robert Lang and Marguerite Phillips. Sheila was educated at Thomas R. Proctor. She was employed at Burger King in her early days. She was an amazing friend to everyone she encountered, and always kept positive, no matter what was going on in her life.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Ali Goff; daughters, Olivia Dixon, Laqueisha Goff, Alisa Goff, and Jamie Goff; sons, Desmond Nelson, Lavoy Leggett, and Jashmir Goff; sister, Annamarie Rathbun; and brothers, Percy Phillips, Alex Steele, Jr. (Manny Man), Justin Phillips, Joey Spano, Robert Spano, Tony Lester, and Michael Rathbun, all of Utica. She had 14 grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a special friend, Sue.

The family would like to thank the staff at Faxton-St. Luke’s and their dialysis team.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 12 – 2pm at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 1123 Court @ York Street, Utica, NY.
