Obituary

Shaun L. Schiffinger, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in her home.

She was born September 9, 1965, in Utica, daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret Erb Schiffinger.

She attended UFA and served in the US Navy Reserves. She is survived by her sister, Kristine Goff and her husband Ronald Goff; brother, Robin Schiffinger and his wife Lisa; brother, Kevin Schiffinger; and brother-in-law, Anthony Mincey. She was predeceased by her sisters Desiree Mincey and Mary Sweeny, and brothers Karl Schiffinger and Ernest Schiffinger.

The family would like to thank her good friends Leah and Will, and special friend Liz, for all their help during this time.

The family would like any donations to go to Pets Alive, Inc., 363 Derby Road, Middletown, NY 10940, for helping with her beloved pets Riley and Flip, that passed with her.

A small service will be held on October 7,2022 at 2:30 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica, where she will be laid to rest with her mother. We will be having a celebration of Shaun’s life at Teri Schiffinger’s home, 311 Buck Lane, Forestport, NY on October 8, 2022, 12 Noon until -, Please bring a dish to pass and your own drinks.
