Obituary

Rosemary Every was embraced by our Lord in eternity on November 28, 2018 to rest in peace. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and was kind to everyone she met. In recent years, as she required more medical care, every professional who cared for her commented on what a sweet and nice person she was. That truly characterized Rosemary who was a quiet person but always impressed people with her graceful presence and natural smile.

She was predeceased by her husband Wendell and will truly be missed by her brother Reginald Oeinck (New Hartford), her daughter Judy Merrell (Clay), her son Tom Every (Ithaca), son-in-law Steve Merrell, grandchildren Kim Ritter, Paul Merrell, and Betsy Park. She was also the great grandmother of three children. No words can ever express our appreciation for the deep love and support she provided to all of us.

Rosemary was a past parishioner and communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clay, N.Y. and St. Thomas Catholic Church in New Hartford, N.Y. She worked for numerous years in the Utica area as a secretary and administrative assistant at General Electric, a law firm, and the New Hartford school system.

The family would like to recognize and express our sincere gratefulness for the many years of special care that her daughter Judy and son-in-law Steve provided to their mother in their home as she aged and encountered difficult health issues. Their care and sacrifice provided a loving home which supported and enabled her to achieve a full life of 90 years.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in New Hartford at 11:30 AM on Wednesday December 5, 2018. All family and past friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Clinton, N.Y.
