Roseann M. Anderson, of New Hartford, NY, was born on March 18, 1950in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Savino) Campion.

She was educated at Elmont Memorial High School in Elmont, Long Island.

Roseann married Harry (Ken) Anderson on April 3, 1971, in Elmont, New YorkAfter over 50 years together, Ken passed away on January 31, 2021.

Roseann worked as a beautician in various businesses around the area.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was also active in the MV Quilting Club, the Red Hat Society, and Stitch & Chat.

Roseann enjoyed quilting and sewing. Once a week she gathered with friends for Stitch & Chat. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Brian Anderson; her daughtersChristine Anderson and Casie (William) Lis; her grandchildrenIsabella and Alyssa; her brother and sister-in-law, Mark (Christine) Campion; her brothers-in-law, Bruce (Elena) Anderson and Ronald Andersonlifelong friends, Elaine, Carol, and Susanas well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry (Ken) Anderson; her parents, Francis and Rose (Savino) Campion; her mother and father in-law, Harry S. and Roberta (White) Anderson; her brother, Michael Campion; and her sister-in-law Maria Anderson.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Abraham House in Rome for the wonderful care and comfort given to Roseann, her granddaughter Alyssa for staying by Roseann’s side to help care for herDr. Winn, Lori, and Ella at Wynn Hospital for the compassion and care they provided Roseann. 

Calling hours will be on Thursday, July 9, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Friedel Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd, New Hartford. A funeral mass will be offered the following day, July 10, 9:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, friends may consider memorial donations to Abraham House in Rome.
