Obituary

Roland Becker, 47, of Utica, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at his home.

He was born on July 16, 1976, in Huntington, NY, a son of Joseph Becker and Jean Hassell.

He was always ready for a get together with friends and family and enjoying a good BBQ. He loved his dogs and will be sadly missed by Tedalina and Warlock.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Becker of Freehold, NJ; siblings, Erika Applegate and her husband, James of Freehold and Dirk Becker of Pennellville, NY; nieces and nephews, Grace, Gabriel, Luis and Tyler. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Jennifer Sulivan for the care and support she gave Roland.

Calling hours will be in Tuesday, June 11 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 1123 Court at York Sts., Utica. The funeral will follow at 4:00 pm.
