Obituary

Robert D. Zehr, 40, of Whitesboro, NY, died peacefully in his sleep at home on May 21, 2024.

He was born in Rome, NY, at Griffiss Air Force Base Hospital on May 18, 1984, son of Deb Zehr.

Rob attended Whitesboro Central Schools. He worked at Stevens Swan Humane Society, taking care of all the animals then at Oriskany Garage and Tire where he’s been for 15 years as a mechanic.

Rob loved spending time with family and friends, making memories and having a good time. He was a huge Wrestling, Giants, and Yankees fan and enjoyed attending concerts & events.

He is survived by his mom Deb Zehr and his “pops” Joe Moorehead of Whitesboro; his gramma Jane Zehr of Utica; two uncles, Dave (Trish) Zehr of Deerfield and Dan Zehr of Utica; as well as many other beloved family & friends.

He was predeceased by his grampa, David T. Zehr Sr.

Rob’s family would like to thank the family and their & his many friends for all the help and support during this difficult time.
