Obituary

Paul J. Millar, 61, of Marcy, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2024, at his home.

He was born August 1, 1962 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, son of the late Thomas and Yvonne (Carroll) Millar. Paul graduated from Whitesboro High School and went on to graduate from Utica College of Syracuse University.

In 1989 he was married to Claudine Kolwaite. They were blessed with two children, Daniel and Meghan. Paul worked at Oneida Limited for 23 years, and Steel Treaters Inc for 10 years before retiring.

He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in New Hartford, NY. Besides being a diehard Buffalo Bills fan, he loved his cars, camping, boating and gardening. He was an extremely hard worker and took great pride in maintaining his home and property.

Paul is survived by his son and daughter, Daniel and Meghan of Whitesboro; former wife Claudine Millar and her family. He is predeceased by his brother Thomas, and sister Elizabeth.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, at 11:30 am at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in New Hartford, NY. The family will be receiving visitor after the service. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd, New Hartford NY.
