Patrick Joseph Accuri, age 77 of New Hartford, NY and formerly of Verona, NY passed away peacefully at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown on February 17 2026. He was born In Oneida, NY, the son of Joseph P. Accuri and Angeline Favata Accuri. He was a graduate of Oneida High School.
Patrick was employed by the Oneida Daily Dispatch for many years as a member of their advertising department where he worked until he retired for health reasons.
Patrick however was best known as "Breadman" or "Aldo" to his friends both in and out of the musical community. He loved playing bass guitar and performing with his band The Imperials and later on the band Trilogy. He was best known for his "slightly stolen trademark" of white tuxedo suit and a matching fedora which earned him the moniker of Aldo after Aldo Cello and the Cello wine commercials.
Patrick is survived by his loving companion Carol Lewandowki, his sister Ann Marie Drake, and his four adoring daughters, Amy Accuri (James Tubbs), Stacey Accuri Hawley (Shawn Hawley), Audrey Collins (James Greco) and Jodi Accuri Preston (Brian Preston), as well as his beloved grandchildren, Jamie Fox, Katherine Culver Joslyn, Jordan Accuri, Greyson Collins, Emmett, Bennett and Beckett Accuri Preston as well as two nephews and Carol's son Christian Lewandowski. He also had a large extended family of cousins and friends that he considered family that we would like to recognize in love and appreciation.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Angeline, his wife Becky Accuri and his grandson Ashton Fox.
The family would like to thank his doctors at Bassett Medical Center and all the support staff who took such good care of him over the years. He truly was blessed to have so many people that not only provided him with excellent care but also became his personal friends.
The funeral will be on Monday, February 23, at 6:00 pm at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. Calling hours will be prior to the funeral from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
