Obituary

Nancy M. Heil, 93, of the Masonic Care Community, formerly of Acacia Village and Angola, Town of Evans, NY, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Heil. Nancy graduated from Angola High School and Albright Knox Art School in Buffalo, NY.

Nancy is survived by her sons, John (Patti), Robert (Pam), Michael (Betty), Peter (Karen), Paul (Michelle) Heil; grandchildren, Adam (Lori), Brian, Remington, Sarah, Sean, Brendan Callahan, Christian (Emily), Griffin and Ethan Heil; great grandchildren Sloane, Colin and Gunnar Heil; sister, Marcia Slater and brother, the late John Pulk.
Nancy loved her husband, her family, all of her friends from the Town of Evans and Acacia Village, art and nature. She will be cremated and placed in her final resting place with her husband Eugene at Holy Cross Cemetery in Angola, NY.

Nancy’s family would like to thank the Masonic Care Community Staff (Acacia Village and Queens Household – Health Pavilion) for the excellent, compassionate care that Nancy received.

In accordance with her wishes, Nancy’s family will honor and commemorate her life at a Mass on Saturday, June 10, at 10:00 am at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, 22 Prospect St., Angola, NY. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, New Hartford.
