Obituary

Michael Jay Cohen, age 60, of Utica, NY, formally of Queens, NY, passed away in his home. Sunrise September 18, 1964; sunset June 23, 2025.

Michael was the son of Julia Bailey and Mack Cohen, born and raised in Corona Queens. He loved his block 107st, growing up in the neighborhood he was known as Corona Mike. He went to school at p.s. 143Q, he also attended an all boys school. He later went on to attend Bayside high school. He was an O.G, always well dressed, his sneakers laced just right, he loved wearing his hats, his fedoras and kangol’s, he was a smooth talker. His second home was Westbury L.I. where he spent a lot of his time with his cousins.

He leaves behind his son, Ishmel Cohen, a grandson, and five siblings.
