Martin J. Kulik, 77 of New Hartford, died January 9, 2022 at Faxton-St Luke's Healthcare with his loving daughter at his side.

He was born July 22, 1944 in Utica son of Henry Kulik and Alice Milotte. He graduated from Whitesboro school. He served in US army in 1960's.

Martin married the love of his life July 26, 1969 at Sacred Heart Church, Utica, NY. After celebrating 50 years of love, Johann passed away July 26, 2019.

He worked for Special Metals for over 40 years. He also worked along his wife at their restaurant, Banker's Cafe.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Michael. In his spare time, Martin would draw and paint which was he proudly displayed throughout the house. He loved traveling with his wife, family and friends to Las Vegas, cruises and visiting his daughter in FL. Throughout his life, Martin's passion for woodworking and construction led to remoulding not just his own house, but many of his friends and family's homes.

Martin is survived by his children Michael F. Kulik, of Utica, Patricia Dodge and her husband Matthew of Punta Gorda, FL and his son Matthew Jr; his sister Paula Mika, Frankfort and Maryann Petrowski of FL; sister-in-law Angela Williams and brother-in-law, John Musa; several nieces and nephews and Daisy. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Kulik and brother-in-law Ed Mika.

Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-7pm at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd, New Hartford. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home Tuesday at 10:00am to proceed to Mt. Olivet Cemetery Chapel, Whitesboro for a brief service. Interment will follow.
