Martha (Martie) E. Zollweg, 89, having lived for 60 years in Deerfield, NY died on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Wynn Hospital. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Ronald F. Zollweg.

She was born in Schenectady, daughter of August and Martha Matula.

She is survived by her son, James Zollweg and his wife Carol; granddaughter, Elinor Zollweg and her fiancé Daniel Finkelstein of Rochester, NY; daughter, Judi Zollweg and partner Jim Tavares of Mohawk, NY; grandsons, Ben Jakubowski and his wife Jen of TN and Chris Jakubowski and his girlfriend Tiffany Howell of Deerfield, NY. She would like to make special mention of her brother, Dave Matula’s family; his wife Margaret Matula, nieces Caroline and Jennifer and nephew Danny and their families, as well as a special cousin Bonnie Greulich and special family friend Jane Young.

In lieu of calling hours Martie would like her friends to spend time doing a kindness for someone. Please consider donating to the charity of your choice in memory of Martie.
