Obituary

Lee D. Sulzener, 44, of Canandaigua, NY, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Wynn Hospital.

He was born on September 9, 1982, in Geneva, NY, the son of Daniel Sulzener and the late Cynthia Haight Sulzener.

Lee was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees. He also had a creative side and enjoyed drawing and listening to music.

He is survived by his father, Daniel Sulzener and his wife, Diane; his siblings, Sara Sloan and her husband, Connor, Danielle Sulzener, Michael Sulzener, John Sulzener and his wife, Noel Smith and Nate Shipman; and his nieces and nephews, Leah Preston, Anthony and Brock Mendez, Nolan Shipman, and Quinn Sulzener.

Lee was predeceased by his mother, Cynthia, and his grandparents, John and Winifred Haight.

Services will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
