Obituary

Karen Eichstadt Woods, 69, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Wynn Hospital.

She was born on July 26, 1956, in Utica, the daughter of the late Robert and Dolores Dote Eichstadt. In her younger years, Karen worked as a waitress for many years, and more recently was employed in the stockroom at Faxton Hospital.

She is survived by her daughters, Dina and Amanda; her grandchildren, Alex, Amara, and Naylan; her sister, Donna; her brother, Bob; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Larry.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 1123 Court St., Utica.
