She was born May 24, 1955 in Georgetown, SC.
Karen enjoyed fishing, bingo, going to the casino. She loved her dog Gator. She loved to write songs and stories. She enjoyed the memories shared at family cookouts and bonfires. She was a strong willed woman who fought until the end.
She is survived by her children, April (Ron) Pavlus of Hamilton, Kefron Cook of Utica, Micah (Spencer)Gilliam, Deansboro and Zechariah Cook of Syracuse; her grandchildren Monica and Justin and Caleb, Grady and Nathan; four brothers, Steven (Barbara), Leroy, David and Jimmy (Sherrill), one sister Donna.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 AM at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. There are no calling hours.
