Obituary

Karen Ashton, 71, of Rome, New York, and formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on June 2, 2026.

Born on July 27, 1954, in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, Karen was the daughter of James Blackburn and Rose DiDonato. She spent much of her life caring for those she loved and was known for her kindness, devotion, and generous spirit.

In 1997, Karen married Douglas Ashton in Worcester, Massachusetts. Throughout her life, she was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family, especially her son, whom she loved deeply.

Karen will be remembered for the love and care she gave to those around her and for the lasting impact she made on the lives of her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved son, Damain Maguin.
