Obituary

Joseph F. Duffy, Jr., 79, passed into the arms of the Lord on August 22, 2023.

He was born on February 8, 1944, in Rome, NY. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Mohawk Valley Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Nelson Duffy of New Hartford; children, Joe, Jim and Jason (Cathy); grandson, Nicholas; step-sons, Sean and Billy (Sarah); sister, Dawn Cornish; brothers, Royal (Janis) and Ed (Paula) and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be on Friday, August 25, at 4:00 pm at the Mohawk Valley Church, Maynard Dr., Marcy, NY. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hour will be from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, prior to the funeral. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
