John (Jack) Kennelty passed away on Wednesday, February 14th at the Presbyterian Home, New Hartford, NY.

He was a World War II veteran serving his country in France, England, and Germany. After the war he gradutaed Magnum Cum Laude from St Vincent College, Latrobe, PA.

Jack began his career as a reporter for the Tribune Review and went on to become the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce both in Greensburg, PA & Utica. As a second career he became a real estate agent.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Yankee fan. With his wife Millie, he traveled the Caribbean and cruised to Panama and the Mediterranean. In later years he enjoyed watching and feeding birds at his backyard feeders.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Millie (Johnson) Kennelty of New Hartford, his daughter, Pam (Timothy) Staves, of Manlius, and son Timothy (Harris Spylios), of New York City.

A reception to celebrate Jack's life will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, February 16 at Preswick Glen. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to Fayetteville Manlius Food Pantry or the Columbia Land Conservancy.
