Obituary

James W. Allen, Jr. entered his eternal rest on May 30, 2021.

Jim was born on September 24, 1969, to Marjorie Williams Allen and the late James W. Allen, Sr.

On January 12, 2007, he married the love of his life, Lori Hynes. Born to this union are two beautiful daughters, Jamie Elizabeth, and Alexandra Frances. He was so proud of them and their accomplishments. His best times were on the slopes, teaching his daughters to ski.

Jim had an interest in Motocross, a sport he shares with his brothers. At the time of his death, he was employed by Indium Corporation.

He leaves his mother Marjorie Allen Karl with whom he shared a very close relationship; his beloved wife, Lori; his precious daughters; Jamie and Alexandra; his brothers who loved him dearly; John J. Allen and Marilyn, and Todd K. Allen and Tamella; his in laws, Peter and Sandra Hynes and Jeffrey and Tamara Hynes; his nieces and nephews, Avery, Kimball, Emily, Hannah, Kailey, Braeden, Zack, Madison, and Thomas.

Jim was graced later in life by a wonderful stepfather Peter A. Karl, Jr. and his sons Peter, Bob and Greg.

The essence of Jim’s Life was to see the good in other people and not to judge, if he hadn’t walked their path. Hence, he was loved by many.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford where calling hours will be on Friday from 3 to 6 PM. Covid protocols will be followed. Non-vaccinated individuals are required to wear masks.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Father Joseph Salerno honoring the family by officiating.
