H. Alma Dennison, 88, of The Pines at Utica and formerly of Cassville, entered into heaven on June 12, 2024 at The Pines of Utica, with her granddaughters, Eliesa and Carrie, by her side.

She was born September 13, 1935, in Utica, NY, daughter of the late Raymond Miner and Harriet (Turk) Miner and was educated in New York Mills Schools.

Alma worked at the Letter Shop for many years and retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in the Microfiche Department.

She was a member of various Veterans Organizations and participated for many years on our Utica Relay for Life Team “Angel’s Among Us”. Alma was a bowler and very proud of her unsanctioned 300 game. She enjoyed cross stitching, camping at Lake Chalet, family get togethers, playing games on her computer, going to the casino and sending cards.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sandra O’Dell (George), Jean Williams, and Kathy Paciello (Joe); her sister, Marilyn Heinrich; step-daughter Deb Ultsch (David); her grandchildren, Marie O’Dell (Mark Abel), Eliesa Muzzy (Ken), Carrie Loubier (Ron), Tommy, Cindy, Desiree Paciello-DeStefanis (Chris), Joe Paciello; 19 great-grandchildren; 9 great-greatgrandchildren; a niece and nephews and a good friend, Kathy Perritano. She was predeceased by previous husbands Ray Ward and Floyd Dennison; brother-in-law Jim Heinrich; niece Darlene Cehfus; stepdaughter Candy Major (Steve). In her later years, she reunited with her first husband, Gordon Williams, the father of their three cherished daughters. Gordon passed away in 2009.

The family would like to thank The Pines at Utica, 3rd floor. Special thanks to Carlos and Kim for their exceptional care of Mom / Mema. It is truly appreciated.

Calling hours are on Friday, June 21, from 4-6 PM at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A funeral service will follow at 6 PM with Pastor David Green, officiating. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
