Obituary

George Ray Sipe, 61, of Cassville, died January 26, 2019 at home.

He was born August 23, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Robert A. and Janet M. Sipe.

George married Mary S. King in March of 1980.

He operated a farm in Cassville. Farming and his family were the most important to George.

He is survived by his wife, Mary S. King-Sipe, his children Shawn (Stephanie) Sipe of Clinton, Shannon (Levi) Laird of Clinton and Shane Sipe of Cassville; his grandchildren, Jakob Dylan and Joshua Ray, Kaleigh, Kaitlyn, Kadence and Kinsley; his siblings John (Laura) Sipe of New Park, PA, Darlene (Jimmy) Wagner of Baldwin, MD, Rodney (June) Sipe of Forest Hill, MD and Ricky (Laurie) Sipe of Ocean Pines, MD and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Mary Dix of Abingdon, MD.

Calling hours are on Saturday from 3-5 at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A service will follow at 5 PM.
