In Memory of Donna M. Spriggs

Obituary

Donna M. Spriggs, 73, of Utica, died October 2, 2023 at home.

She was born November 29, 1949 in New York Mills, a daughter of the late Harvey and Dorothy Acker Spriggs. She graduated from New York Mills High School in 1967 and St. Lawrence University in 1971.

Donna worked at the Utica National Insurance Company for 30 years until she retired due to ill health in 2021.

She volunteered for many service organization’s boards and committees such as the YWCA of Utica, United Way of Greater Utica, Zonta International and others until her retirement.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and David Maciewicz, nephew and his wife Benjamin and Paige Maciewicz and their daughter Brinkley. She was predeceased by her mother and father and a nephew, David Maciewicz, Jr.

Calling hours are Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Glenside Cemetery, New York Mills.
