In Memory of Dona Finkle

Obituary

Dona Finkle, 88, of Clinton and Old Forge, died October 9, 2025.

She was born November 16, 1936 in Utica, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Phillips Haggas.

Dona married James H. Finkle, Sr., March 17, 1956.  James died November 11, 2014.

She is survived by her children, Gail Doyle and husband Gregg of Clinton, Debbie Bathke and husband Don of New Hartford, James Finkle, Jr. and wife Theresa of Polk City, FL, Lynne Myers of Clinton, and Sharon Kleps and husband  Dave of Old Forge; her grandchildren Jill Finley and husband Ryan, Cody Doyle and fiancé Torriee DiDonato, Sarah Dobson and husband Justin, Jen King and husband Mike, Meghan Bathke and wife Jackie, Jessica Myers, Stephanie Burke and husband Daniel, Mallory Kleps, Griffin Kleps and wife Madison; 13 Great Grandchildren; Nephew Jeff Haggas and wife Carol.

She is also survived by her close friends Don Bentley, Bill Fahy, and Mary Bonsted.

Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.  There are no calling hours
