He was born in Utica, NY, a son of John and Dale Adams. He followed his passion for aviation, completing schooling at Riverside School of Aeronautics and serving in the United States Air Force from 1983-1989.

He had a natural understanding and curiosity of machinery in various forms, leading him to a career as both an aircraft mechanic and automobile mechanic. He was an outstanding musician, known best for his skill of the bass guitar. Family and friends alike have known him as someone to count on and his presence will be sorely missed. He touched the lives of many people and he will always be remembered for his spontaneity and kindness.

He was a loving father to his four children: Jonathan Dylan Adams (28), Lauren Mahala Adams (26), Jacob Bryce Adams (23), and Darryl John Adams Jr (17), a beloved son of John Edward Adams (84) and Dale Elnora Adams (84), and a dear little brother to Jeffrey Edward Adams (59).

He was an avid member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and an active member of the Veterans Association.

The family would like to thank The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the Westminster Moriah Olivet Presbyterian Church for what they've done to help during this time. They would also like to thank all family and friends for their kind words and condolences.
