In Memory of Ann Stelzer Foster

Obituary

Ann Stelzer Foster, 96, of Applewood Community and formerly of Sauquoit, died July 7, 2018, at the St. Luke’s Home.

She was born April 8, 1922 in Utica daughter of the late Morris, Sr. and Gertrude Schindler Stelzer. She was married to Judson W. Foster on June 28, 1947 in New Hartford, NY until his death in 2005.

Ann is survived by her son Judson C. Foster of Holland Patent, her,daughter and son-in-law Diann and Sam DiNitto of Westmoreland; her granddaughter Kerry Ann Foster of Tampa, FL; her great-granddaughter Annaliese Latham; her step-grandson Eric (Lura) Bessmer of Remsen and her nephew Edward (Janice) Stelzer, Sr of New Hartford.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Reino and Laura Johnson of Sauquoit for their nearly 40 years of love, devotion and support; and to those in the Applewood Community for their friendship and assistance during the past 12 years. They also wish to thank the staff of St. Luke’s Home for the care she received over the past few months.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 11-1 at Friedel, Williams and Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. A service will follow at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to any local humane society, CABVI, Abraham House or Hospice and Palliative Care in memory of Ann.
