Andrew Joseph Postiglion, age 35, of New Hartford NY passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Webster, NY.

He was born June 10, 1986 in New Hartford. The son of Robert and Maureen Heller Postiglion. Andrew was a 2004 graduate of New Hartford High School going on to receive his bachelors degree at St. John Fisher College in Rochester where he also played lacrosse.

Andrew worked as a senior service partner for Paychex of Rochester where he was admired and respected by all of his coworkers. He was a diligent employee who took great pride in his work.

Andrew was a kind, loving, gentle soul who was truly loved by all. His enormous charm, wit and humor attracted the attention of an entire room. He was the guy that everyone wanted to be around and the guy that made everyone feel special. He had a unique ability to make anyone laugh at any given time. He was truly the light of our lives. He enjoyed all things sports from lacrosse to golf and sometimes an occasional wager on the big game. Andrew was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and an avid Syracuse fan, so much so that his beloved dog and best friend is named Boeheim. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Andrew was a beloved son, brother, nephew, Uncle and friend.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Robert and Maureen of New Hartford. His brother Christopher and wife Deah, of Albany. His sister Amy Cimino and husband Stephen of Jamesville. His Godmother and Aunt Susan Heller of New Jersey, Uncle Michael and Aunt Kathy Heller of Outerbanks , NC. His niece Gia Cimino, nephews, John Cimino (Godson), Christopher Postiglion (Godson) and Kiernan Postiglion. He is also survived by his Godfather John Dillon. He had several cousins with whom he was especially close, Katrina (Brian), Kristan (Anthony), Katie (Andy) and Patrick. Andrew had a tremendous group of loyal friends, from the time he was a little boy to present day, who will miss him immensely.

Andrew is predeceased by his grandparents Ann and LeRoy Heller and Mary Postiglion.

A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
