Obituary

Willie Charles Coit also known as "Billie", "B.I", was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 26th 1974 to Bernice Sanders and Willie Coit Sr (both deceased). He grew up in Brooklyn, where he attended Our Lady of Loretto then Boys and Girls High school, later on, receiving his GED. Over the years he's found employment with an abundance of companies in the Central NY area. Jobs varied from construction, warehouse worker, care attendant to cab driver with last employment with Human Technology as a janitor.

In Brooklyn, he lived in the Atlantic Towers. There he grew a forever brotherhood with Langley(Daquan), Sam(Capone), Cedric, Solomon(Monster), and a host of others whom he considered family

In 1991 he met Antoinette and moved to Utica NY. They married in 1992 before the birth of their son William. During their marriage, they shared another child; a daughter, Kiara. His late mother Bernice Sanders and his loving family joined him by settling in Utica NY shortly after the birth of his daughter. Even though their marriage ended, they always came together for the children.

He genuinely loved to see others happy. He enjoyed cooking, hanging out with family/friends, and lending a hand in any way that he was able. He touched everyone in different ways but everyone can agree that his compassion for others, his loyalty to his loved ones, and pride in his children and family are what he'd be most remembered for.

He is survived by his two birth children William and Kiara Coit; Antwuan and Giavonna in whom he raised as his own during his marriage to Antoinette; His siblings Mary(paternal), Lisa, Linda(pre-deceased), Leonard, Andre, Ray, Courtney and Carlotta; His nieces and nephews Johnny, Lendale, Quentin, Schrell, Davon, Antawn, Nicole, Natalie, SaiQuan, Tearaini, Andreah, Andre Jr, KaDre, Kyree, Karayjah, Anthony, Andre(Pre-deceased), Aiden, Carter, Cassius; and Cousins Monique and Michelle; two grandchildren Kailynn ( Giavonna ) and Josiah(Antwuan) and Paternal Aunt Audrey Clark, Uncles Neal Coit, Ricky Clark ,and close friends, Douglas Belton(Moony) and Victor(Hec)

A later celebration of his life will occur in July of 2021 in Utica NY.
