As I reflect on our times and conversations here in South American, I'm saddened that I will know longer hear the "Señor Long" you always greeted me with. I'm grateful for the all the advice and mentorship that you eagerly provided. I will miss our times together before and after games, and all the other chats outside of basketball. Jacquie stay strong thtough this tough time, and Obie fly high my friendy!

Dear Jacquie,

I was heartbroken to hear of Bill's sudden passing. There are simply no words that can ease the pain of such an unexpected loss.

I will always remember the fun times we shared together and how Bill's quick wit and wonderful sense of humor always had us laughing. Reading about his life made it so clear how many people he touched with his kindness, laughter, and generous spirit. What a beautiful legacy he leaves behind.

Please know that you, Travis, Maegan, Nolan, and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. I hope you find comfort in the love that surrounds you and in the countless wonderful memories you shared together.

May God give you strength and peace in the days ahead, and may Bill's love and the joy he brought to so many remain in your hearts always.
