Wanda was a cheerful, kind and devoted woman! She lifted many spirits within the school system and at St. John's Church. She was a staple of the choir and always was ready to pitch in and help for many causes. I always admired her enthusiasm and warmth.

Wanda was a shining light at St. John's and offered the kindness and friendship that exemplify the Christian spirit. She aways had a kind word in addition to one of the loveliest voices one could enjoy at mass. A wonderful woman! God bless her and her family.

The photo of Wanda in the obituary totally reflects her kindness and personality. She was a God-send for years to my parents and family when they were still living at home. I remember her teaching my older daughter and seeing her in the halls. Her son Tom was my student and I loved the tie to Wanda. I didn't know she was a Grygiel as I also went to NH as a student and remember him. Wanda was such a really good, giving, caring, humble person who helped our family in so many, non-assuming and supportive, guiding ways. I know she is singing with that beautiful voice up on another plane and will be around her family and friends caring as that is the essence of her.

What an impact she made on the lives of all that knew her. She was forever giving of herself. She always thought of others, before she gave a thought to herself. I have so many wonderful memories of her that I will always cherish. She was a loved lady and will be missed by many. May you rest in peace Mrs Gregory, you deserve it after a life well lived…

I’m so sorry to hear of Wanda’s passing. As longtime neighbors of my parents, she was always there for them and she sang beautifully at their funerals. A beautiful soul, she will be missed dearly.

I honestly don't know what to say. We are all at a loss with Wanda no longer with us. Don, Cindy, Tom - you have my deepest and most sincere sympathy. Such a woman is without peer. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, her love of her religion was deep and true and having her as a friend was a gift from above. Working with her was pure joy; sharing stories, sharing lunches, sharing celebrations - all are some of my most fond memories of her. To say I loved her is an understatement. Her smile could light up a room. I am so very sorry for your loss. Wanda was one of a kind and we are all so fortunate that she touched our lives. Rest in peace, my dear friend. I know you have the penthouse suite. I'm sure Jesus met you with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant", and our Blessed Mother took you by the hand. You will be sorely missed.

Wanda was an angel on earth and is now an angel in Heaven. When we first came to St. John's, my husband, Chuck, remembered her as his former English teacher; they picked up right where they left off, many years ago, and continued their friendship. She visited him at home, as well as in the hospital and nursing home many times, bringing words of comfort and the Eucharist. He loved their time together. I'm sure he was one of the first to welcome her into Heaven. May she rest in peace knowing the love of all those who will miss her.
