Dear Mary, Matt, Andy and Patrice, I had the privilege of enjoying your Mother for the past 3 years at Preswick Glen. Besides meeting in the halls , we did Zumba together 5x’s a week singing songs and trying to stay healthy. Halloweens were particularly fun. She was always game for whatever we would throw at her. Last year I gave her a slinky black dress and a big red flower for her hair, she wasn’t sure if she looked a little too risqué but we convinced her she looked great and fit the bill perfectly. I will miss her but grateful to have had her as a friend.

I was very honored to be a friend of Virginia's. We worked together on several church functions and the thing I loved about her was you never had to guess where she stood. If the whole room felt one way and she felt another, nothing on earth could change her mind. We need more people with her strong convictions.
I'm sure she is delighted to be in the presence of God and with Jim again.

Dear Matt, Patrice, Andy and Mary and family
I am so sorry to read of your mom's passing. She was a very special woman and mom. It seems like it was just yesterday and we were across the street and you kids were back and forth. Still think of you all. You had super wonderful parents and my sincere condolences for you loss.
Much love, Joyce Oster Palmer

Patrice and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed. All of you kids are a wonderful testimonial of her life. When I saw this obituary, it brought back many memories of our childhood and knowing each one of you and your Dad too. I live in Williamsburg, VA now, so too far away to make the church service, but please know my thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. May the good memories warm your hearts for years to come and inspire you especially during tough days. Hugs
