I was so sad to hear about Vik’s passing. He was a dear childhood friend and I’ll hold on to so many wonderful memories of growing up together. Sending my deepest condolences to Nirmala Aunty and KP and all of Vik’s loved ones.

I didn't know Vikranth for very long, but one thing that was very apparent in a short amount of time was how excited he was to be a part of Upstate, his overall eagerness to learn and get to know others, and how kind he was. It was great getting to work with him!

Vic was just a teenager when I worked with him in Clinton High School. I remember how smart he was and how much he enjoyed his friends. He was always kind and very funny.
Vik had so much potential and a full life ahead when I knew him. I still remember bribing him with peanut butter cups to finish his senior paper. He was “grounded” to my room until the entire paper was complete. He thanked me for my help and told me I was definitely in the right job because kids needed someone who truly cared about them. I never forgot how sincere he was when he said it.
I’m just so sorry Vik wasn’t able to spread his magic the way I know he would have if he had been with us longer.
You will always live in my heart, Vik. I was and will always be proud to be your friend.
My prayers are for Vick’s family and friends. To all those kids from Clinton who were close with Vik, I’m so sorry for our loss. It’s never easy to lose one of our own.

Hearing this truly broke my heart. I went to high school with him and always remember him as someone who was happy, friendly, and full of life. The world lost a special soul. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Although I didn’t know Vik well I appreciate the time that I was able to work with him at Upstate. He was kind and compassionate and very considerate. He will be greatly missed.

Vik was a colleague of mine at Upstate as well as a fellow UB MPH alum. Although our time working together was brief, he always showed enthusiasm for learning and passion for helping others, which reflected highly in the quality of his work. Vik was always friendly and kind to whomever he interacted with at the office and his presence is greatly missed. Wishing his family and friends moments of peace and comfort during this very difficult time. You are all in our thoughts.

Vik was a colleague of mine at Upstate, and though I didn't know him well, I will always remember how kind Vik was to me, and everyone else, and how eager he was to learn. I know there are no words that can make things better, and I just hope you take care of yourself as best you can during this difficult time.
