Condolences

Dear Barbra and Doctor Tom,
I am so sorry for your tragic loss of your daughter, Valerie. I did not know Valerie but I know you from living on this lane with you both. You are wonderful people and , I am sure, you had a wonderful daughter. What a great gift from God, to have a daughter for 51 years. Her life, here on earth was short. My parents lost their first child at the age of 2 and a half years. Sometimes, life is not good. This is one of those times. But, I have a feeling that your daughter, Valerie is going to help you now. You see, She will always be with you, in your hearts, your souls, your minds. You have always been the driving force behind her. Now she will be the driving force behind you. You have lost her, physically. But spiritually, she is very much with you. Always. You are both her heart and soul. Your smile is her smile. The twinkle in her eyes is your twinkle. You have a spiritual gift that can never be lost. Valerie, your gift from God.

We are very sorry to hear of your sister passing Tom. We send our prayers to all of you.

My children were saddened to hear of your passing Ms. Val. You were always seen around campus whenever I volunteered. I'll always remember you interacting with others and helping the students refocus on what they were supposed to do. You'll be dearly missed at the school.

I am so sorry to hear this. I played soccer with Val in high school. She was a great teammate and friend. She had a beautiful smile. My sincere condolences.
