Hadity family and Gail - so sorry for your tremendous loss. Even though it has been decades since I have seen Chip I can still remember his smile and kindness to me as the only little girl in a room full of boys at Gail’s annual Super Bowl party. Tomorrow and every Super Bowl I remember Raw Kibbeh shaped in a football and fond memories of Chip, Michael, John and Gail. Prayers and love to all.

My heart is just broken to hear the news of Chip's passing!!!
I worked for Chip's dad for years and years and I even sold him my Pinto Pony car ...we used to laugh about that.
He was just the sweetest guy and I really enjoyed him SO much. I saw him a few years ago when I traveled to Utica from NYC to visit family at the Train station. I think he was working at Greyhound at the time.
I am sending John, Michael, his mom and wife and kids a huge hug.
I will miss him very much.

Ellie
I'm shocked as everyone by Chip's untimely passing. Over the years at Grace Church we watched him become a fine young man as well as husband and father.
He always had time for us to catch up on each other's family whenever we ran into one another..
No one can know the depth of your sorrow, but know all who knew him share your in your loss.
Find strength in your family and all those fond memories.

When I heard of Chip passing away, I was in complete shock. He was truly a kindhearted man. From the Kemble School and Utica Free Academy days, keeping stats for Utica Olympics CBA basketball team in the early 80's or seeing Chip working at the liquor store, we always had great conversations.
He had concern for others and would ask about my parents every time we met. I will never forget that.
God Bless you Chip, I will miss you. To all his family and loved ones, I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Chip: I am so sorry that I did not have the time to read this letter to you. I’m sure you are in heaven listening to me. First, I want to thank you for the 40 years of friendship that we had since we first met at UFA. You were always there for me in good and troubled times. Thank you for being there for me. Second, for the great times we shared; bowling, golf Sylvan Beach, Boilermaker , going out to local bars :the Columbia, ,Rapp lounge, Elks, UC games thanks for being there for me. Third ,for coming to the beach and wanting to cook .I will never forget the chicken soup that you made one day that came out like yogurt! The salt potatoes! Every weekend salt potatoes! Thank you for being there for me to try to experiment your cooking abilities. Fourth, you were always supportive of Syracuse University and some teams that never really had a chance. The Oregon ducks? Miami Dolphins? Mets? And for some strange reason you would always know the names of umpires, referees and coaches. I would sit there and say what? Thank you for being there for me to share these laughs. Fifth, the love you had for your family. You always talked about how much Ellie , Shawn ,Sara meant to you. Being a grandpa, you would not stop talking about how proud you were. Talking about your brothers
And their successes. Mom and dad and how much they loved you. Thank you for telling me about them because I know how much you cared, to share with me. Next, your faith in God and your church .I don’t know how many people have been in a choir for 40 years? How about being a chaplain at the Elks and sponsoring me to become part of such a great organization. Thank you for sharing that with me. Finally, thank you for being you ! I will never forget your laugh, your support, your gift of gab, more than me and that’s a lot of gab for sure! Chip ,life takes us to unexpected places , however friends and family bring us home. Chip, I will never forget you! Thank you for being there to laugh and cry with me because that’s what friends are for. Rest in peace my friend. Sincerely , Terry

To the Hadity Family:

I am so sorry for your loss. Throughout my collegiate soccer career, Chip trekked to Geneva, N.Y. for numerous games. As I walked off the field, win or lose, I could always count on Chip to lift my spirits and offer words of encouragement. His genuine kindness, charisma and care for others were unmatched, and his positive energy was contagious. He was a true light in this world and will be dearly missed. Sending thoughts and prayers.

Knew Chip (and John) from our grade school says. Became better friends during high school and it continued from there. A great guy with a tendency to smile and laugh. Many great memories from our friendship. Even though the miles between us increased over the years (as is the case with most) we could always pick up a conversation quickly when we got together.
My sincere condolences to the entire Hadity family. His death is untimely but his memory will endure.

Chip
There are no words as to how much our hearts are broken. We truly adored you. Your banter about Liverpool football team, what our Newcastle team needed to put it right.

The spectating stories while watching Shaun, Ben, Gilroy boys, Luke, Joey, Dennis, Andrew, Joey Joel and all the other NH football ( soccer ) team as they progressed match after match and onto states.
You were always so proud to be Sarah and Shaun’s dad.
Jessica thought of you as her second dad as u shared a love of ice hockey. Many times her and Sarah spent making a project, gossiping about boys, doing homework, or just eating at your house. Probably driving u and Ellie crazy lol
May u be reunited with your dad and Joyce and rest in eternal peace.
Goodbye friend, we love you. New Hartford sure as heck isn’t gonna be the same without you.
