Sudhir C. Potluri, 66, longtime resident of Clinton, N.Y., passed away on May 1, 2021.

He was born in Andhra Pradesh, India and educated at Gulbarga Medical College, where he played on the badminton team. After graduating from medical school and marrying his wife, Nirmala, he moved to the United States and completed his ob-gyn residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He spent most of his career as a physician in central New York, delivering many of the area’s babies, first at Slocum-Dickson Medical Group and then his own medical practice and A.O. Fox Hospital. An avid golfer, he played in many local tournaments and won a few of them, too.

Dr. Potluri is survived by his wife, sister, son, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, many nieces and nephews, and many more loving friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8 from 10am-12pm at the Cedar Pavilion, Sherrill Brook Park, New Hartford.
