Margaret, you and I go way back to our Nazareth College days, and raising our families about the same time. I feel like I knew the "kids" now accomplished adults. I wanted to reach out....
Stephen had commendable career , credentials and eclectic interests and a wit. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I had a chance to work with Dr. Lauterbach in Tarzana, CA. at Providence Medical Center. He was always fun to work with in the operating room and had a great personality. My deepest condolences to his family and son, my prayers are with you during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to your family. Dr. Lauterbach did an emergency surgery for my husband at St. Luke’s Hospital in 2012. He is the reason that my husband still has his leg. Numerous doctors wanted to amputate but he pushed forward with such perseverance and care, never giving up. I am deeply saddened by his death and I am eternally grateful to him for his compassion and his expert care that he provided to my husband. May he Rest In Peace ????
