Scott V. Miller

I'm so sorry to learn of Scott's death. I came to know him when he took a class from me, and later I was fortunate to be a colleague. He was a consummate professional who excelled at his craft. He was also responsible for mentoring a generation of students who got their first professional experience working in the trenches (or underground) with him. For his work in laying cable between buildings he became affectionately known as "Norton" - a reference to the character on the Jackie Gleason television series who worked in sewers.

To lead a good life is to make a difference - a positive difference in the life of others. Scott led a good life, and so many of us are better for knowing him.

I am so sad to hear about Scott. He was special.
I could not have had a better person to work with than Scott (Scotty). We worked together for many years for the college on many projects. He made the work enjoyable and rewarding. Excellent at what he did and always was willing to share his knowledge no matter what challenges came our way. I will never forget how he treated me, always encouraging and supportive. I truly will always have fond memories of work together and our talks about our families.
Barb, My condolences to you and your family. I will pray to my Lord Jesus that he will comfort you and yours during this sorrowful time and beyond.
You had a Gem....

Barbara, we are so sorry to hear about Scott's passing. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We have always been a bit sad that distance has kept us so far from family. Just know we are thinking about you.
Much love and Blessings
