To the family of Nick Sheldon I am so sorry to read of Nick's passing. I originally met Nick at the old All American Fitness Center back in the 1980s. He was continually friendly, cordial and funny. I also met Nick Jr, another great friend, through Nick. I hope you are comforted with the knowledge that he was so well thought of by so many. Tom Onisk

Dear Family and friends of Nick Sheldon,
It is with great sadness that we learned of Nick's passing.
He was a tremendous guy and wonderful friend to my parents, Don and Betty Price as well as the extended Liebermann's family of Lansing, Michigan.
When he came to visit it was always a treat. A great conversationalist who knew how to listen.
We will miss him.
Much love to his extended family.

One of a kind human being. Not sure we will ever encounter a kinder, gracious man. A true gentleman.
Nick was the world to my mother Marie Potter .
Her loyalty to Reid & Sheldon was understandable, knowing Mr Sheldon.
May his memory be a Blessing.
Peace, love, and joy,
Linette Potter Centolella

So many wonderful hours spent at Reid/Sheldon downtown. Most of my Christmas shopping was done there.
Nick was always present for a helping hand. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Please accept our sincere condolences.
Nick was a consistently positive influence in both our lives. He was a terrific neighbor to Jim's parents and a loyal supporter of Jim's involvement in America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk for years as well as a long term customer of Jim's at CJ Burth Service!
My mother, B. Allen provided childcare for Rosemary for a time and I also had the privilege of knowing Nick though my tenure at Catholic Charities where he served as a respected Board member for years. He continued to support the agency long after he left the Board.
Nick was a positive force to be "reck0ned with", he always smiled and had something nice to say.
His commitment to our Community and generosity to both our families have left an indelible mark. We will miss him :(
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
Jim and Jan (Allen) Stasaitis

To all of Nick's family.
Nick has been a great friend since I met him at the store in the early 1970's. Nick has been a great Mentor to me and many others as he served as President of the Board of Trustees of Forest Hill Cemetery. His engaging personality, wide range of topics (on which he knew "so much) made him a joy to talk with.

Nick's devotion to Forest Hill Cemetery has been a great inspiration for us all.

God Bless You Nick - and Thank you for many years of friendship, guidance, and great times talking together.

Nick was a great guy and one of the best businessmen of the area. I had the honor of knowing him since his Spartan basketball days when he was a member of their teams with players like Warren Palmer, Steve Lockwood, Pete Morris and others who gave us at UFA fits on the court. I am also proud to say I still use the luggage I bought from Nick many years ago. Our community will miss him. God Bless him and condolence to his family.

I join the community in mourning the loss of Nick Sheldon., my sincerest sympathies to you all. A gentleman and wonderful sincere conversationalist. Our family enjoyed multigenerational friendships as business owners in a close knit community of Downtown. Nick was great to me when I was a small child and throughout my life along with his Mom and Dad, some of my childhood favorites...I think the most memorable people are those that are always nice to children,. Thanks Nick, for a life of kindness and support . May your memory be eternal.

To All Sheldon Family,
Nick was one of the most special people in my life. I am extremely grateful that I just spent a bit catching up with him. Ya'all will be happy to know for ten mins, until I took my hat off he said he didn't know who I was. Then told me how much I really looked like myself. He was so shocked he had turned 80 and was very happy. I will think of him often . I also will think of Rebecca,Nicky, and Rosemary. Love you guys.

A great high school pal and Reid-Sheldon greeter . Our community is poorer without him.. His folks were my backyard neighbors as well, so until my relocation about 20 years ago, we had frequent contact. My condolences to Carol and Rosemary and the rest of the family. RIP my friend.
