Condolences

I was deeply saddened to learn of Rick's death. There was a warmth to his very presence which could pervade an entire room. He had a deep feeling for people, as well as a keen, insightful mind. The world is poorer without him.

Connie, I am so sorry to hear of Rick passing. I was fortunate enough to have met Rick at our High School reunions. He was a wonderful man. You two were a great couple. He will be missed by all. Sincerely, Tommy Hefferon

Just wanted to say how sorry we are for the family’s loss. Rob and I are thinking of you all. He was such a wonderful and accomplished man. He was kind, caring, and a wonderful neighbor to us for many years. He always loved talking to us and the kids when we were outside. He used to tell me how wonderful, smart, and polite my children were. It would make me beam with joy. That was just the type of guy he was. He left a beautiful legacy with his beautiful family and will be missed. We know how hard it was these past few years as we kept in contact with Connie. Our prayers and loving thought are with you all.

Connie and Tyler, Rick was a great guy. Funny and quick witted. That's the way I will remember him. As I recall we even got a little work out of him at Piggy Pats.
He is no longer suffering and I hope that helps relieve your burden.

To Connie and the entire Griffith Family,

I was so sad to hear of Rick's passing. He and I served on the Clarkson Board together, and I always enjoyed working with him, hearing his inspirational and caring comments, and socializing with him and Connie. Rick always gave so much of himself in service to others, and he will be missed by many. He was blessed to have such an amazing family. I know his legacy will live on through you.

Rick, "Blitz" was a great fraternity brother and a great friend over the years. We got to see him and Connie off and on over the years and enjoyed ever moment. As well as being a leader in up state NY he was also valued alumni of Clarkson University. We treasure our last time together with Rick and Connie and Bill and Nancy Vanderhoof in Skaneateles. It is a great memory.
We miss you Rick and wish the Griffith family the strength to go forward knowing how grateful it has been to have him your lives for these many years.
