New York Mills – Paul Andrew Wroblewski, 41, of New York Mills, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 17, 2019.

He was born August 16, 1977, in Utica, a son of John T. and Norma (Zimdars) Wroblewski. Paul was raised in Utica, graduated from Proctor High School in the Class of 1995, and was currently employed at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Utica where he worked in Inventory Control.  At the time of his death, he had worked at BJ’s for over 20 years.

Paul was an avid fan of New York Yankees baseball and University of Notre Dame football. He enjoyed frequent trips to New York City, and was a true connoisseur of craft beers.

Survivors include the love of his life, Traci Zasa and her family; three brothers and two sisters, Steven and his wife, Theresa, Victor and his wife, Maureen, Terri Rohacek and her husband, Jeff, Diane Wroblewski, and Daniel and his wife, Carolyn; a beloved aunt and uncle, Rosemary and Richard Wroblewski and their daughter, Danielle; and his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his stepmother, Doris Wroblewski. Paul was predeceased by his parents.

His Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1736 Burrstone Road, New Hartford, NY, where the family will greet friends following the service. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to consider a donation in Paul’s memory to the Utica Zoo, 1 Utica Zoo Way, Utica, NY 13501. Arrangements are under the direction of Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, New Hartford, NY.
