In Memory of Patricia Steele

Obituary

Patricia Steele passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2022.

She was born February 22, 1936, in rural Herkimer County, the daughter of Delaven and Agnes (Williams) Brown. She graduated the Salutatorian of St. Johnsville Central School, class of 1954. 

She is survived by her children, Robert Steele, Jr., Gerald Steele, Patricia (Rodney) Douglas, and MaryLynn Steele (Virgil); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Rhiannon, Robert, Kassady, Vanessa and Lashaunda; her siblings, Donald (Sharon) Brown, Linda (David) Rothermel, and Carol (Daniel Ruffo) Brown; sisters-in-law, Carole, Mary, and Diane; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her good neighbors, Nancy, Mary, and Michelle. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Daniel V. Steele, Sr.; a grandson, Daniel V. Steele, Jr.; and siblings, Gerald Brown, Art Brown, Helen Derrick, Edward Brown, and Donna Bourdage.

The family is grateful for the assistance provided by the staff from Hospice and Palliative Care, and the staff of the 6th floor of Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare.
