Patricia Savicki Cushman, 80, of Waterville died June 11, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home.

She was born August 12, 1937 in Utica a daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl Folds Savicki and graduated from New Hartford High School.

Patricia married Norman Cushman June 15, 1957 at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford.

She worked for the N Y Telephone Company in the accounting department, as a Secretary at the Waterville Grade School for a number of years after which she took classes to become a Medical Secretary. She worked as a Medical Secretary at several area doctor’s offices.

Patricia was a member of St. Bernard’s Church, Waterville.

She loved gardening and careing for her flowers and she enjoyed travelling. She was an amazing cook and baker. She was an avid fan of Colgate Men’s Hockey.

She is survived by her husband, Norman of Waterville; her children Suzanne Cushman of Deansboro, Catherine Cushman of New York Mills, Tod Cushman and wife Chenhong of West Winfield, Sherry Cushman of TX, Christy Ruiz and husband Jose Ruiz-Trejos of Oriskany, Shelly Harlander and husband Ryan of St. Mary’ , GA; her grandchildren Greyson Jose Ruiz and Lucas Harlander; her brothers Raymond Savicki Utica and Stanley “Peanut” Savicki and wife Nancy Jean of Setauket, LI, step-sisters and step-brothers, Gwen (Francis) Lallier, Deansboro, David (Theresa) Linder of W. Edmeston, Vincent (Becky)Linder of MI, Alison Linder (James) Slattery of Sauquoit and Christine Linder Kielar of Utica. She also leave one Aunt Dolly Richards and one Uncle Walter Savicki and nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard’s Church in Waterville. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours are Wednesday (today) from 5-8 PM at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
