Obituary

Patricia A. Panzone Williams, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, Sunday Dec 9th, 2018.

Patricia was born in Utica, October 1, 1936. Patricia was a graduate of Utica Free Academy where she was a member of the Acappella Choir. She then went on to Vermont College to become a registered nurse. She dedicated over 30 years to the Visiting Nurse Association. She married her sweetheart Robert G. Williams, Jr. and shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2010.

Patricia was an avid gardener, loved animals and being outside. She loved to travel and saw many wonderful places. Patricia had so many wonderful friends, near and far. She considered her sister-in-law Diane Panzone a sister.

Patricia was a beloved wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her son Robert G. Williams III, and wife Cheryl; her daughter Michelle Williams-Henderson and husband James; her granddaughter Rebecca L. Wilson and Jeff, her grandson Robert G. Williams IV, and Sarah, her granddaughter Gianna Patricia Williams, Clayton and Rachel Henderson. She had seven wonderful Great-Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and so many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Anthony and Laura Woglum Panzone, her husband Robert G. Williams, Jr., her brother Anthony T. Panzone and her beloved dog “Shabby”

The family extends a special thank you to Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion and to the nurses at St. Elizabeth’s CT-ICU 4th floor.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
