Mike was my little cousin, and I have a lot of memories of him as a kid. I got to see him a few times as an adult, and he seemed like a great guy. The last time I saw him was at my mother's memorial service three years ago.

My heart bleeds for my Uncle Bill, Aunt Mimi and my cousins Tom and Brenda. You guys are in my thoughts during this very difficult time.

I am very saddened to hear about Mike's passing. We were friends in high school. He was such a nice person and i enjoyed his friendship. My sympathies go to his family. May you find comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Mike was always a friend before he was a coworker. Knowing Mike for several years as he was my Supervisor on night audit - you couldnt ask for a better guy. There was nothing that could be asked of him, simply because he'd already have it done. Mike was an honest man, and told you the whole truth; and never was one to be one sided. His love for pop culture and the 80s is a reason why I loved working for him - we were so in sync. The Tower will be lucky to have a night audit supervisor that is half the man as Michael Pentland. I am changed for knowing Mike, and knowing is the half the battle! G..I..JOEEE. Sending love and prayers to the Pentland family.

I was so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. He was so much fun to be around! I have many years of great memories with Mike from MYF and DeMolay. We saw the original Star Wars movie together when we were around 12 ... Canoe trips ... he even helped me move into my first place. He was such a good friend. I'm so so sorry, Mr. & Mrs. Pentland, Tom and Brenda. My heart goes out to you all! ❤️ RIP my friend
