Dr. Bradley, Our sincere sympathy during this time!
I was reading today's O.D. and saw this post that truly
is what Mary Lyons Bradley represented "There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone -the light remains!"

Mrs. Bradley was a lovely and elegant lady who was kind to all. She and her husband bought my grandfather's home in New Hartford in the late 1960's. I was a toddler and had few memories of the house. Years later Mrs. Bradley gave me a tour of the house which remains a wonderful memory to this day. She was a loyal customer of my grandfather's and father's gift store and we all looked forward to her visits. Her graciousness and her positive approach to life will remain inspirations for us all. She will be deeply missed. Our deepest sympathy and condolences to her dear family.

Dear Ed and family,

It was with dismay that we learned of Mary Lyons passing. Though difficult at this time, the 62+ years to love and enjoy each other must be no small consolation. It is with great fondness and respect that we remember you both and will pray for the repose of her soul with confident assurance of her eternal destiny with Our Lord. May He bless you all and sustain you in your time of grief.

We will all miss such a wonderful and vibrant member of our community. I loved getting to know and work with Mary Lyons on The Community Foundation Board. Her passion for our area and all it has to offer was evident in everything she did.

Sending thoughts and prayers to you, Uncle Ed, Kathy, and Betsy. It was one of my greatest pleasures in life to get to know Aunt Mary Lyons, not only as my Aunt, but later in life as a great mentor and dear friend to me through some of the more challenging periods and most exciting times of my life. Aunt Mary Lyons was truly an amazing listener, advice giver, and storyteller. I will always be grateful for and cherish our conversations and friendship.
