Condolences

I am so saddened to hear this. Mrs. Barker was my ABSOLUTE favorite teacher of all time! I am a history teacher, 28 years, because of her! She was truly inspirational and occasionally I’d run into her when I was home in Utica and it would make me so happy. May she rest in peace and I will be keeping her family in my prayers.

I would like to express my condolences to the Barker family. Mrs Barker was my 12th grade Psychology teacher at Utica Free Academy. She was an amazing teacher…. Tough but fair. She helped launch my life long career in social services. I even had the privilege of babysitting her two beautiful daughters a few times back in 1988. May you rest in peace Mrs. Barker.
